major points on the Islands, and provide a pleasant and
safe journey along the waterfront.
There are so many choices for traveling around Davis Islands
and to/from Davis Islands, including walking, running,
skateboarding and rollerblading, bicycling, boating,
driving, bus, and air travel. All of those choices are
maintained and are located and built in harmony and balance
with the rest of the community.
You can't beat Davis Islands for convenience. It
is close to downtown, an airport, a yacht club, and a
hospital. Its location makes it a very desirable place
to visit which is alright but visitors are not allowed
to disrupt the balance and harmony of the community.
Parking is a resource that is carefully managed. The problems
of parking shortages, negative impacts of truck loading
zones and poor physical appearance of parking lots have
been resolved.
