FORMULATION OF POSSIBLE QUESTIONS TO BE ASKED AT THE NEXT COMMUNITY MEETING:
1. Do you went want more, same or less density?
2. Do you want maximum potential density as Land Use prescribed? (Note: DINPTF need to look into and compare DI with other cities’ RDU.)
3. Would you like to keep the same:
a. setbacks
b. Floor Area Ratio limitation
c. Sympathetic Character to community
d. Façade break down
e. Height restrictions
4. Would you be willing to increase zoning variance notification?
5. Would you consider allowing MU instead of R-35? (i.e. expanding the CBD north towards the bridge?
6. Do you want DI used as a destination spot?
7. Do you want “chain stores” or “Mom and Pop shops?”
8. Would you like to see a more dense business district?
9. What do you feel the height restriction in the Village should be?
10. Do you think we should widen the sidewalks?
11. Would you consider allowing a parking garage? If so, where would you consider the best locale?
12. Do you think that rentals should be converted into condos? (i.e. to decrease density and decrease cars.)
13. If TGH were ever to leave, would you support
a. Educational uses?
b. Residential uses?
c. Office uses?
d. A park?
e. Medical uses?
f. Other uses? (Please specify.)
12. Would you support the growth of support buildings at the airport?
14. Would you like to see Davis Islands be gated?
15. Would you like to see the Power Squadron building used as a Community Center?
